any only run their RLL with a piston upper? especially one 11.5 or 10.5? just curious if any of them do better then others with career tilt with the smaller tail on the back of the carrier…..
was thinking about an adams arms but not set on that. would be nice to cut down on the cleaning and heat especially suppressed |
| I cut down an Adams arms carrier, but didn't realize before I did that the portion that got cut off was the portion that holds the bolt straight. So now the carrier will move up and down in the receiver about 3-4mm which looks to me like it would cause serious tilt issues. But I have never tried to run it. As far as other companies I'm not sure. I wound up using a gas upper with adj gas block and I don't get any more gas in the face than a piston upper. Hope this helps |

that is what i was worried about… and the anti tilt buffer are a no go with how you have to close the upper with the link installed.
what kind of gas block did you get? i have an adjustable gas tube now but in the future i would like to get a block that i can dial 1 for unsuppressed 1 for suppressed. |

This will fix any issue you might have. This buffer tube will insure that the carrier is always supported even in bolt locked position. http://www.pof-usa.com/shop/index.php?id_product=8&controller=product |
