Been out of the loop for a while. Looking for the best quality and materials for the purchase of a front grip/bipod for my Colt M-16A1. I like the type that the two legs fold up into the single front grip.
No problem spending $$$ on the best! Thanks for the help. |

for a front grip I like the Mako Tactical Folding Grip

I would look at Grip-Pods. The USMC uses them on M249's so they should work fine for M-16 use. I'll probably run one on my shrike when I finally get around to ordering it.
Otherwise I'd consider the GG&G or maybe the Tango Down bipod if you decide on a bipod that doesn't serve dual purpose as a VFG. |

I just ordered a Shrike upper from Ruben and thats why I really need one! |
| I agree, Grip-Pods are pretty tough. We really didn't break many on our deployment with them, and we put some through some pretty tough use. They also hold up well on full auto as they don't rattle loose easily between the two rail attachment and the wing nut to lock it into place. For the $40 or so they run here in the EE, they are a good value. |
