How much do PD engraved 614s cost compared to M16A1s? Thanks!

ETA pics.

$1000 or so less, historically.  Maybe $13500 right now instead of $14500-$15000

I can post pics I got from the seller this evening.

The RLL is sold awaiting transfer. I was starting to regret selling it until I found the 614.

Pics up. Had to sell my M11, and RLL to get this.  But thought I better do it now before these become unobtanium.

I wouldn't worry about the engraving. Get it refinished, and be happy.

I wouldn't refinish it. Just darken those in with some gray marker and after awhile, you won't even notice them ...

Refinishing any factory Colt hurts the value. You can't undo it, and it may hurt the value in the future. Hey, maybe some day the PD marks may actually increase the value! Stranger things have happened with Colts.

And congratulations! Any Colt is a great '16!

Thanks for the replies gents.  The engraving doesn't bother me, not for the price anyway. But I'll probably try some grey marker like Tony K suggests.

It's from an Atlanta PD surplus lot and the only one without the Atlanta PD engraving, just the inventory numbers on the lower's right side.
