So I just got my Ciener in the mail and I am checking it out..
My question is how does the auto trip stay in place? Does it just set there??
Thanks

The auto trip is trapped by the bolt carrier cavity in the upper.  If you don't have an auto, it does nothing.

Thats the anti bounce weight you are talking about. I am talking sbout the thin wire type auto trip.. Or maybe I am mixed up.
Yes it is a RR M16

Draver is talking about the right thing.  The auto trip is trapped by the cavity in the upper receiver.  The anti bounce weight is trapped in the conversion kit itself.

If you look at the diagram (even though it is tiny) in the packet that came with it, it will show you where they go.  And if you take the kit out of your upper carelessly, the anti-bounce weight and trip will fall on the ground.

Yeah I woundered how to put it together also. It just sits in place in the upper and falls off when you take it out of the upper.

I just back from the range and it ran very well.
I used CCI Mini Mags and Remington Thunderbolts. Both worked well but I could tell the CCI's were alittle hotter..

After I shot about 300 or 400 rounds of.22lr I shot 2 30round .223 mags and a Beta dump. Man .223 feels like a cannon after shooting a bunch of .22lr!!
Well it is time to buy some more mags!!

Check out blackdogmachine

He's made injection molded 30 round versions for the Ciener conversion.

Can't post his info...mods say it's "pimping".

Send me an email and I'll give you the information.

Will the Ciener kit work with a DIAS?  Where did you guys get your kits?

Thanks,
