Big fat NEGATIVE. It's completely ILLEGAL to make a machinegun unless you're a Class 2 MFG. It's been illegal to make transferable MG's since 1986. The only new MGs being made are for military/LEO and Class 3 dealers (i.e. post 86 dealer samples) |

You can however get a tax stamp that will allow you to buy a mg that was registered with ATF before 1986. But because they haven't made any new ones in 20 years expect to pay alot (biggest understatement ever) for one. Or if you don't have tons of extra cash lying around, you can learn to bump fire like the rest of us. |
Yes he could but he'd have to pay about the same amount for a RDIAS as a Registered M16 costs. He's trying to go FA for $200 tax + another $250 for standard M16 parts. Like the other posts have said, there's no legal way to do that. (about 21 years too late) |
