correct me if i am wrong but a rr is also a registered sbr so i could use any length uppers on it but if using rdias then id also have to sbr the lower it is in seperately

as long as the drop in auto sear is in the gun it can be whatever you want. but once that auto sear is out it has to go back to a rifle unless it is registered as a sbr

Yup. While the RDIAS is installed, you can have any length upper on it that you want.

But if you plan to remove the RDIAS, you must first remove the sub-16" upper. (Yeah, I know -- who's gonna know what order? -- but that is what BATF says.) If you remove the RDIAS from the gun and "forget" to take off the sub-16" upper, you are in possession of an unregistered SBR, according to BATF.

thanks for the quick reply i had actually thought that with the rdias that you had to obey the 16" rule unless the lower was sbr'd also thanks for the clarification

Also does anyone know a good C3 dealer in Arkansas
