| I am looking for Grease Gun magazines. Are the USGI magazines the best option? Also, looking for leads on where to purchase. Thanks. |

Since no one else has responded...
I haven't bought any in a while, in fact I've sold some off more recently, but in my experience the GI ones function best. The Keep Shooting repros were dimensionally different and didn't look as good. Just a few years ago you could pick up new surplus ones for $25 but I think $40 is closer these days. I always had good luck on GunBroker with NIW surplus. If you can find parkerized ones they are pretty cool. I almost never see them at gun shows and, I promise, I always have my eye out. If I do it's usually like one and ridiculously priced. Just be sure the ones you buy match the magazine release on your gun. Some have a notch in the back, some have a square notch on the side, and some have a D-shaped notch on the side. Good luck. |
| Op, in my experience, yes, the usgi were the best I found. Look for new in wrap and be ready to clean them up. I bought a bunch from bowers when they had them and haven't even opened half of them, I consider it an investment for the future, after all, they aren't being made like that anymore, haha. |

if someone wants to IM me a link also, would be appreciated. I was waiting for the Keep Shooting to come back in stock, but now just make get the GIs http://www.gunbroker.com/Auction/ViewItem.aspx?Item=547169795 <--- Not mine, no financial interest. |

I'd be interested as well.
I have about 10 of the KeepShooting mags but my Lage upper doesn't seem to like them (a lot of failure to feeds, bullet nose hits the bottom of the barrel, and adjusting the pitch doesn't seem to help). They run great in the stock upper, but I mostly play with the Lage and only run the stock upper for show. |
