Nice! I always liked the S&W 76!

I noticed the stock is not standard. Is that a Stemple stock?
I'm currently waiting on a transfer for an MK 760, which is pretty much the same gun.   I would prefer a collapsing stock, such as yours.

I think your gun needs some work.

It is the magazines.. or ammo... or spring...  I wouldn't bet my life on this gun .
At least my AC556 doesn't miss a beat. But its not smooth shooting like this one. Hitting 8" plates at 100 yards is a cakewalk.

I drew up a part and had scott andrey cut it out for me. It makes a M231 firing port weapon stock attach to it. Much more friendly that the square factory stock..
I still have a few more cuts to make on the adapter before it collapses correctly.
I can make another if you want...

One day I will get the hickups out of the gun, but the only way to test a mag is to do a few mag dumps.. it is an expensive process.
Ive misplaced my factory S&W magazine, so I have to use Suomis or those Dutch parkerized mags.

My friend used to have a 76 with an integral suppressor. It was quiet enough
You might of seen him on Sons Of Guns.
Apparently his was quieter than theirs.

Ive got gemtech multimount for it, but I need to get a 3 lug barrel made.

looks like a lot of fun.

Keep all fingers off the mag when you shoot. The 76 and 760 are sensitive about slight movement and will choke.

+1 on this.  I have one and if the mag has any play at all, it will cause FTF's.

Fix it so it runs 100% and its more fun.

I always likes the 76 design and it inspired others along the same lines.....

Check your extractor and replace your recoil spring and buffer.

Buffer? The bolt shouldn't be traveling back far enough to need a buffer.

If there's not a buffer in there, the receiver will get the retaining pin holes egged out.  They require a buffer.

Its a S&W 76, not an M11/9. The bolt should not be making it far enough back to hit anything. If your S&W 76 needs a buffer, you need to replace the spring.

I run different weights of springs depending on the loads I'm shooting and I run a buffer as well, but that doesn't matter.  I will continue to run a buffer and I will recommend others to run a buffer regardless of whether or not the bolt travels back far enough to make contact with the receiver plug.  Nobody is going to put tape on their SMG during every outing to make sure the bolt isn't over traveling due to a possible worn recoil spring.  My MK760 was delivered to me with a buffer and I will keep it that way.  You will not change my mind or my recommendation.  Thank you...please drive through.
