I had a bunch of mags handed to me yesterday.  I'm 99% sure they're mac 9mm. They appear to be 9mm. How do I go about identifying them and valuing them correctly so I can sell them fairly?

Yup.  Are they metal, plastic (zytel), do they have markings, were metal feed lips added to zytel mags, approximate usage, etc.  There are a lot of factors that pictures will help clear up, i.e. M-11 or MAC-10 single or double feed designs, etc.

There are 4 metal and one plastic marked cobray. They seem to be in good shape with minimal wear

They're not stens, the channel's in the wrong place, and don't look to be walthers.

there is a number of magazines that can be made to work in the M11/9 mag well

the 9mm MAC 10 took a really nice walther mag.

M11/9 has the exact same mag well, except it takes a shitty single feed plastic version of the walther mag called a zytel.

it turns out that a number of guns use the same shape mag well, so there are several mags that can be kludged into working

Is that a madsen M50 mag?  they will fit the m11 well with a little slop.

This whole subject is the one thing i have against the MACs in general.  If there isn't a supply of military grade, cheap mags that exactly fit the magwell, that is a big negative.

I would not own a 9mm mac without converting the mag well to either UZI or sten

Those are converted PAM-2 Mags, there may or may not be a stamp of RECON ORD on them. Recon Ordnance sells a lot of those and by the looks of the finish, that's what I would go with, but there are a lot of garage conversions out there. US Machinegun sells a modified feedlip version as well.

They fit an M11/9 and any M10/9 that can use the zytel magazines.

Any idea of their value? I don't own a mac and want to pass them to somebody who needs them.

I bought a few, not too long ago, from Jerry at Recon Ordnance and they were $30 each.
