Ive got an 870 that I want to cut down, kinda like the super shorty. Anyone had good dealings with people doing this for them and if so who...?

If you want to cut it as short as a Super-Shorty (but I'm assuming as a SBS), you're going to need to chop the barrel, mag tube, the action bars, and either create a forward pistol grip (folding or otherwise) or modify the fore-end/pump to work on such a shortened firearm. You're probably not going to want to hear this, but my recommendation is to just send it off to Serbu to have it done right. There aren't a lot of 'smiths out there who can do this work, much less do it well. Mike |
