Looking at a couple of RR IMI uzis at a good price and im considering buying one. Question is, both look like theyre parkerized and thought the original IMI guns were painted. should i be concerned? the finish appears to be matte from the pictures. I had a SA UZI long time ago and it was a painted receiver. Any thoughts?

I believe that IMI guns were paint over park, all Vector marked guns will be park only.

Uzi's imported by Action Arms have a baked-enamel
finish over park.

hmm yeah i remember my semi being a little glossy. this one looks kinda matte. what does that mean?

Who out there does the best refinishing on UZIs to get them as close as possible to the Action Arms finish?

Seems like they were refinished at some point.
