I'm down to selecting the last components for my first SBR. I understand that the most common problem with SBRs is that they are overgassed. The solution is to use a heavier buffer and F/A bolt carrier. I have a Spikes ST-T2 buffer and I am considering a Young NM bolt carrier. The Young bolt carrier is heavier than a standard F/A bolt carrier. My concern is that the combination of these two components will result in too much weight. What say you? The rifle is a 6.8SPC with 10.5 Noveske barrel. ETA: Just noticed this was post #500 |
