[ARCHIVED THREAD] - How long

I see in the fact section it says to send out paper work and it will take a LONG time to get approval and paperwork sent back. How long was LONG for some of you who have done this?

it depends on what paperwork you are talking about. Form 4 or a 5320 form.

My last two forms took 9 months. That is not normal though. Right now 3-4 months is about normal.

My last Form 1 took two months and two days mailbox to mailbox.

My first dive into NFA was a Form 1 for a SBR and was submitted (individual) took 89 days, in my mail box Jan 22,2010.
I have my first Suppressor out for delivery on Form 3 today (that took 29 days) and fixing to get my first Form 4 paperwork going.
One more suppressor still waiting on a Form 3....Hope they go fast.
