Actually, they are about the same price since the one is on a Form 4 in GA requiring two stamps. To the OP, I would offer the dealer $4500 cash. I would venture to say he will take it. You can use the one posted on Subguns in Osprey's post as a reference for price negotiation. |

100% up front. References provided if necessary. I won't break these offerings up and only have them up for bills that must be paid so no trade offers. ? |

| Nothing that has been posted is wehat I would call a good deal. The last M11 I saw go was $2800 on a form 3. I have seen others go for as little as $2200 and one with the lage for $3500 on a form 4. The prices listed for the above items are right at market value before the economy went to shit. |

I bought a SWD-9/11 last month for $2200 and ordered the Max-11 upper. The upper is ready now, long before the stamp, so I am into it for a little less than $3500 after the tax stamp, shipping and what not including a fixed stock and 14 magazines. There are a lot of good deals for buyers out there right now if you shop around.
Also, since it is a NIB lower, I would read the thread around here about 86 lowers. Not to turn you off, but just to give you a heads up about what may or may not need to be re-welded or replaced. (and yes the one I bought was an 86) Dan |

Excellent deal, was anything wrong with it? |

It is a buyers market right now if you shop. i have been looking at MG's for about 10 years, but never wanted to commit the money and everytime I would get close, prices would rise faster. The crappy economy around here is forcing people to move some of there toys, and I have been seeing prices that I haven't seen ever since I passed on an MP-5 for 5K back around 2005.
Nevertheless, in the last 4 monthes I have purchased a 9/11, two UZI's and an AC556 all for much less than I have seen them for in recent years. One Uzi wasn't a great deal, but the individual gave me very good terms..... Dan |

Just keep looking and a deal for an M11/9 will pop up. There are something like 30,000 of them in the registry, so the prices are low and they tend to be bought by "not rich" people like me that occasionally have bills to pay. There seem to be a lot of those folks lately looking to unload toys, so just make it part of your daily routine to look here and on Subguns and you'll find one.
Don't get too caught up in how "new" one of these guns is vs. one that has seen piles of ammo. Every new in box M11 I have seen has had rust in spots, and there is nothing on the guns that can't be fixed with a hammer, welder, and/or a drill. Parts kits are DIRT CHEAP. As long as you don't shoot with a bad buffer, you'll likely never have to do anything to the reciever but clean it. With the Lage conversion, the receiver doesn't get beat at all-the bolt doesnt travel far enough back to hit anything. If anything, you may eventually wear out the bolt catch, it will stop shooting in SEMI or the safety will wear out. There are aftermarket parts that fix all of these problems...... |

Thats a bit much.
I paid $2800 for my NIB M10 and $3000 for my NIB M11 in july this year (still waiting on my stamps so no pics yet) The Lage Uppers run $895 or so each. So if you wanted to offer him $4000 you wouldn't be too far off and have one in hand now (there is a wait on the Lage uppers right now) I'm number 128 on the "list" |

Tks. Still looking. If I can't one w/Lage upper, I will get a M11 and then wait. I wouldn't pay a premium for an M-11 just because it came with a Lage upper. Right now the wait time on a MAX-11 upper (the flat top version at least) is 8-10 weeks. If you bought an M-11 and placed an order for a MAX-11 upper at the same time you'd have the upper in hand a month before you got the M-11 in hand. And that assumes it is a one stamp transfer. |
