Does anyone have one of these? Whats your experience? Any hang ups, recommendations?

I have one and it is a great little blaster.  While it is more of a range toy, it has no problem hitting man size targets at 100 yds.  Mine is all CMMG components with the exception of the Daniel Defense rail & CTR stock.  I would NOT recommend using the YHM rail as it is heavy as a boat anchor.  Here are some pics of mine in different configurations.

Cheers

" YHM rail as it is heavy as a boat anchor" Even their lightweight carbine length rail? What rear sight is that?

I am still waiting for my Form 1 back, and then I plan on building something really close to your top picture.  The only difference really is the stock... I was going to go with a standard collapsible stock.  Other than the stock, your top picture looks exactly like what I am planning on building.

I am intrigued, though, by the rail on the bottom two pictures.  Did you make that yourself, or is it an "off the shelf" product.  I like the extra real estate you gain on the sides and the bottom while keeping the standard front sight post up top.

Me too! I think Ima be a cheapskate and just stick with the YHM light weight quadrail. My damn tax stamp is taking FOREVER(4 months now).

Ditto!

I would love to know more about the rail on the bottom two pics. Please throw us a bone, I have a 7" SBR and kinda like the way that looks.

Sorry for the slow response.

The rail in question was fashioned by a buddy of mine using a 7" Daniel Defense rail and a hacksaw/file.  It worked out very nicely for it's intended purpose!!  He also completed the FDE cerakote job

CMMG is out, LMT 10.5 is in. I ordered a 7.3 online, called the next day to see when I should expect it. TWO MONTHS!! I told them to cancel the order. Maybe down the road. Anyone else make a 7-7.5 upper with a 1/7 med-con CL barrel/chamber?

While I do think that gun looks pretty awesome, I feel a little bit of pain for that DD rail.
