I have a friend who needs cash. He's got two registered full auto Colt SP-1 rifles bought new in the 70's. One's the short barreled one (stubby triangular handguard). Both are factory unmodified and in excellent condition. He fires a couple magazines through  them once every five years or so.

I have not seen them personally, but he's a retired cop so I'm sure he's really got them. When I see them I'll bring my camera and post pics.

Assuming they're in, say 95% condition or better, what would be a good asking price for one or the other?

I would suppose the market value for them is around $10K
