I want to F1 an AOW made out of a Mag-Lite. It's going to be a .22 barreled action cut down to fit inside the tube. I am going to have a little space left over in the tube and thought about installing baffles and integrating a suppressor. Would that push me over to 2 stamps? The silencer is a permant part of the AOW.

yes, i believe so.

i asked a similar question yesterday. consensus was that the ATF approved some single-stamp guns way back, but then changed their minds a short while later.

Yeah, I read that one. I may not then. I would hate to spend $400 in tax for a single shot .22 flashlight.
