Took my RPB .380 M11 out for the 1st time today.. What a frustration!

Here it is the best as I can describe....

5 Mags, 1 16rd, the others 32rd. All metal mags.

Failure to feed big time.

Bolt will strip the rd off the mag and itill chamber half way, like at an odd angle and the round just hangs up..

Thats about it. Im guessing a mag problem, the gun did run some, and when it did all was fine..

Any Ideas?

Just thinking out loud here.  Maybe the mags are sitting too low in the magwell? Dirty chamber?

Any pics anyone can post would be helpful. I have no reference point other than my problem child.

Compare the angle of the bullets when in the mag. Make sure they look similar and you dont have bent feed lips. Check the bullet feed ramp. Mine got a bur on it and caused a few hicups.

Try here too. Lots of mag info.

That definitely sounds like mag problem, I havent played with the 380 Macs, but my M11/9 was doing similar things, tweaking feed lips and replacing mag springs pretty much eliminated the problem.

I presume you have this problem with different brands of ammo ? You are shooting ball ammo, right ?

If its happening with all your mags, take a look at the feedramp of the lower receiver. My M11/9 had feeding problems with a slowfire upper until I tweaked it up a little to eliminate a step between the ramp and the barrel.

All ball ammo, and all brands..

Do you have pics of your feedramp?
