I wanted to know if anyone owns/shot a B.A.R. & how they liked it?  Also, does anyone know the going rate for one?

Thanks,
Josh

About $38k-40k for an original C&R gun, and $20k-22k for one built on a parts kit with an aftermarket cloned receiver.

I just took mine out for the first time recently.  I really enjoyed shooting it.  I like the feel of the gun, and even though the GI's didn't like it the bipod is nice when shooting from the bench.

Mine is an ERMCO, there were about 80 of these made in the 1980's.  ERMCO was a part of RAMO (known for making many MG's).  Even Jim Ballou, wrote a great BAR book, says these are the BEST of the non C&R guns.

The ERMCO is a higher quality copy then the Group Industry guns.  The fit and finish is excellent.

As for price they run a little more then the Group Guns, but still less then C&R.

Here are some pics, sorry the exposure is off...
