I purchased a Vector full size UZI before the price went up over $7,000. They are worth the money and the fit and finish is flawless. Pick one up, you will like alot!

I've got a Vector full-size and love it.

As far as mini vs. full-size:
--The full-size has a low rate-of-fire but you can speed it up with buffers or a closed-bolt conversion. Tons of available accessories, including caliber change kits for .22RF, .45ACP, .40S&W, etc.; optics mounts; stocks; etc.

--The Mini is, well, smaller ... and shoots way faster, with no cheap/easy kits to slow it down. Fewer accessories, caliber changes are rare and expensive.

Lots more excellent info on Uzis at uzitalk.com.

I have an IMI full size (model B),in the pipeline of paperwork as we speak..

It is my First FA..

It is a conversion to full SMG specs..

I don't think you can go wrong with the Vector,as I understand they will take care of anything that needs to be done if needed!!

Good luck with the Uzi,and have fun..

I've got a Fm 1 IMI Model A.  I've also got a Vector gun.  Can't say that there's really a nickels worth of difference between them, except the IMI has a non parked finish.

I guess the only real difference, would be the price.   LOL
