We basically have the whole quarry area for our event. In addition to the competition, we should have a pretty great line-up of artillery coming to shoot. Which only makes me more excited and motivated to organize this. WCMG plans on bringing their flamethrower, minigun, and bowling ball mortar(and maybe more) to do some demos as well. My guys will have our MG rental booth in a side bay. The auxiliary bays could be utilized if we have enough range safeties. We will see about that. The Roger's reactive range and the 700yd precision range may be open as well, if SHC wants to staff them. I think they will, but I haven't confirmed it yet. The schedule is tentative. And the range will be hot as much as possible throughout the day. The mortar competition will be the only interruption as we'll need to score the hits up close. But that will be a good break for non-competitors to get lunch    I'm working on the ticketing website while I wait to get some more confirmations. Now you got me buying supplies and printing parts for up to 20 rpg projectiles. I’m also going to be bringing some 20 ga slugs and m183a1 projectiles to shoot out of the 20 ga trainer. I have a few friends among the unwashed masses without a DD. Any chance they could shoot a 40mm if they purchase the ammo? Any going to be available to rent? If so, where would be the best to purchase? A 10 pack of chalk rounds from AZAO? Trying to push them over the edge to buy one. |

We already have 3 other 40mm competitors signed up AZAO and Washington County MG both sell 40mm Ammo and are both planning on being at the shoot. So you could probably work out a pre-order with them to have ammo delivered at the shoot and save on shipping. I'll probably have some available as well. But it just depends on how much I have at the time. |

Bumping this to the top with some additional info. The facility's 700yd precision rifle range and their Roger's reactive pistol range(pop-put steel targets) will be open and available for use. If a spectator wants to use those ranges, they'll need to pay the $40(50 total) shooter range fee to the facility instead of the $20(30 total) spectator fee. The 700yd range has some requirements. It's a precision range and not just a general blasting range. So make sure you check the SHC website for those requirements and restrictions. The Roger's range has only permitted certain ammo in the past. But last time we were there they let everyone shoot FMJ so who knows. |

Update. Currently we have a couple 37mm AT guns and a 25mm that are registered to attend, mortars from 50mm to 4.2inch, and almost a dozen 40mm shooters so far. Lots of interest from some other big guns, so expect to see some exciting updates when we get closer to the event. |

I did. Unfortunately I think it's too late for us to change the date with how many people have registered. And honestly, as cool as guncon would be to attend, I don't think it will be anywhere near as fun as our shoot. Ideally we would have them on different days of the same weekend so we could all go to both |

Quick update. The food truck just confirmed that they will be there for lunch. So no need to pack everything on to the range if you want a good hot meal. It's the same truck that was at ECNS if anyone was there as well. So we know it's delicious |

Thanks for posting your list Tredd! The ChevTec crew will also have a MG booth with the following available. Sten mk3 suppressed Stribog sp9a1 PPS43 (9mm) PM-63 rak VZ-61 skorpion AR-9mm UZI 9mm M4 10.5" suppressed Glock 19 RPD carbine AK And possibly a couple others depending on what I finish building in the next month.   Also, if anyone has any junk vehicles or items to bring as targets, let me know and I'll hook you up with some MG rentals to compensate. |
Fo anyone in need, sherluk will have some.tables set up with the following items for sale. I believe you can purchase ahead of time and pick up at the event.  m69 training round $45 each WWII style M49E3 $45 each Later M720 type $15 each M69 and M49A3 rounds include tail piece. M49A3 does not have top or fuse I got a couple of the m49s from them recently and printed some dummy fuzes for them, and will be making some point detonating fuzes as well |

Is the Rogers range going to be available? If so, are they going to let us use real FMJ boolits again like last fall ECNS? Any way they can let us push the range use past sunset? Some of us have excessive irresponsible NVG purchases we have to try and justify… |

I talked to Pete the range manager yesterday. He said Roger's range got messed up by lightning, so they've been rebuilding it and 3 of the lanes are 22lr only now. But they have tx22s for people to use. The other lane is frangible rounds only. Hopefully they change their minds again. No night shoot on the schedule for this event. But it is a high probability for next year. It was just too much for the first event. It's already grown a lot more than initially planned |

As we're getting closer to this, my wife is having me set aside the "correct" amount of money I should bring as opposed to me just telling her I'll need money for rentals. Do we have a break down of what folks will be charging per weapon? Also, is there a flat minimum age that a minor can shoot a rental or does it depend on the owner of the rentals? My 12 year old is looking forward to this. Been having him shoot since he was 4. |

The 10.5" suppressed M4 and beltfed RPD will be a little more. 30rd mags for the m4, 50 and 100rd belts for the rpd. Kids will depend on their size and which gun they shoot, for safety purposes. Parents must be present of course. At our booth, kids get a heavy "first mag discount" so be sure to stop by. If you have certain guns you'd like to shoot of ours, we may also do a bundle discount. Feel free to message me with what you'd like ahead of time. WCMG stuff will likely be a little more since they have more expensive guns and more expensive ammo.
