Is he still around? If not, anyone know who can fix my M203 w/ 37mm barrel? Light primer strikes...new firing pin?

It's been a while, but I believe that it was Randy that built it for me on a ORF receiver. It has been in the safe for years. I took it out the night to fire a flare for the kids and it is hitting the primers too lightly to set it off.

Odd, his website is down. Boy, I sure hope he's still around! Not too many players in the DD field, and he's one of the few 40mm experts who also offers products.

I just poked around elsewhere and it looks like he has been retired since at least 2012.

I spoke with Randy a while back and he made it clear in no uncertain terms that he was retired and not interested in producing anything more. That would have been at least 2011 or 2012....

My factory LMT 40mm that I swapped a 37mm barrel onto doesn't always set off 37mm flare primers- but it always sets off 40mm primers. I think some of the 37mm ammo producers are using particularly hard primers.
