| What kinds of 37 mm rounds can i own/fire? Whats considered destructive and whats not? Are things like rubber batton rounds ok? |
| You can use flares, smokes, and cs gas rounds in a 37mm launcher.Anything else that can inflict damage such as beehives, wood batons, rubberball, buckshot, and foam batons are all to be used in a DD.You can however register a 37mm on a form 1 and make it a DD and legally use all these rounds. |

40mm M781 "chalk" rounds are not considered AP, although a determination has not been made for 37mm, I would doubt they would find otherwise...
Although a chalk round could kill someone; so could using the launcher as a club... With an unregistered launcher, you are safe with flares, smokes, gas, and line launching projectiles, regardless of material construction. You cannot have an adapter capable of chambering standard or short 12ga ammunition including the Agula type shells. This would make your launcher capable of offensive or defensive combat, and a Destructive Device. (and or, a short barreled shotgun) Yes, it is a $200 tax for the paperwork, but you can have so much more fun with it... GROG |

...oh, and as far as what kinds of rounds you can own... The only munitions that are DDs themselves are the ones that contain over .25oz of explosive compound, IE HEDP, HE, and such.
You cannot have any bean bag, wood or rubber baton, rubber buckshot, xact impact, flechette, buckshot, adapter that can chamber 12ga standard or short Agula ammo, or any other shotgun guage adapter, HE, or HEDP, and the like. You can have any gas, smoke, flare, signal, line launching or such pyrotechnic munition. Baracade gas rounds are also NOT anti-personnel, nor are muzzle blast type rounds. GROG |
