Started an M79 project. Am I in possession of an unregistered DD if I have a stripped receiver that was purchased as a Title I and have all the parts to make a functioning M-79? Im assuming yes, as the way there's that clause with the SBRs. Odds are the receiver will stay at my dealers until I have my form 1 and everything ready to be put together, but you never know what may come up. |

Cool deal, just wanted a double check. Found a almost complete parts set minus the receiver for sell in the EE at an offer I liked (Complete barrel assembly and wooden butt stock). Have the lead on a couple of stripped GI receivers and a buddy sold me some internals I needed and found the rest at j&t distributing. Im hoping I wont even break the $4k mark on this project. |
