ANyone out there have or know where to get a instruction manual for mounting a 40mm launcher?

What kind of launcher? I imagine picking up a Military Operators Manual for the M203 would give you a good idea.

The most important detail is what weapon and what mounting system.

It would be mounted on a 14.5'' m4. The launcher is a LMT 40mm. It's not that I don't know how to do it, but I was trying to explain to a buddy of mine over the phone and that's close to impossible. The m203 manual doesn't show you how to mount it. It just shows LL THE COMPONENTS

If he has the LMT mounting kit he will have a lot of extra parts in there. The one I got had some replacment parts for a quad sight with it.

So what mounting system are you using? Bushings and long tab mount or the KAC 4 sided mount?

The latest M4 manual has very detailed instructions on using the KAC mount.
