For those that registered for the rebate, what was the process?

Registered last week, serial, upload receipt, and........  Got their new "harvested" email over the weekend, so that part worked.

Is there a wait while they proof the purchase?

Mine took a couple of days after I registered.  I want to say the silly hat came before the rebate did.

Ask and you shall receive.  Just got confirmation email a few minutes ago.

Time to probably go spend more than $200.

You might want to wait for a sale if you are not in a hurry.  About a week ago they had a one day "flash" sale with 30% a few categories and said the rebate funds were good during the sale.  I hadn't bothered to get my first code yet then, though.
