Anybody done business with Capitol Armory? Looking at buying my 1st suppressor and noticed that they had an "Easy Pay" option to basically pay on a suppressor for 4 months but starts the paperwork immediately. Any other companies do this? I was checking out that option too, but it really only benefits Texas residents. For out of state customers they'll start the form 3 with the "easy pay" but require payment in full before starting you can start the form 4. It would buy you a month or so until the form 3 clears, but really defeats the purpose of monthly payments while you wait for the form 4 to clear. |

I've bought 5 cans from them. No problems. Good communication from the boss on things. I swapped out a few accessories. Shipping has been fast. They still have my 5 cans which is big damn problem but not their fault. I've bought several accessorries from them for various suppressors. They seem to run really good deals on add ons during the holidays. Rest easy.
I thought about easy pay when I was buying stuff prior to 41F to get a few more things. I'm too damn cheap to pay the fee though. Silencers, cheap. did I just say that? |
| I have used them several times, and I'm sure I will again in the future. My opinion is that they're a little pricier than I prefer, but did just fine on the purchases I have made. Question though - why would you finance a suppressor? Not to jump into your financial picture, but that is definitely a bad idea. Have you read the terms? Deposit+15% service fee? Seems like you could/should just save up that money on your own. No one needs to start paperwork that will take another 8 months so bad to pay extra for it. |

I did Easy Pay with them on my last can back in May 2016. Seamless online interface and great communication.
I live close enough so I drove down and picked up the can when my stamp came back. The store was small but nice, staff was courteous and quick. I would buy again with zero hesitation. |
| I fucking LOVE the guys over at Capitol Armory. They're the only out-of-state place I will go to for cans. They have their shit dialed in. I know what is going on with my orders, their website works great, and if there's an issue- they'll get it sorted. I have changed orders, returned orders and never a problem. My SOT hasn't had any issues receiving anything from them. I have purchased 5 cans from them, along with accessories. No issues. |

If you have a credit card, do the math. Most of the time it's cheaper to charge it and make 3-4 payments...the interest would be cheaper than their fee.
That being said, top notch organization. I even got the chance to go visit them when in the area for business, and even went out to the range with Joshua. |

No delay on the Form 4 paperwork either. I haven't purchased from CA but they sure seem to have earned some nice endorsements here on arfcom based on members' posts. JPK |

JPK I think you will come to a different conclusion when you read this quote, from the CA site: "Please note that your order is not available for pick up or shipment to your local FFL/SOT dealer until your Easy Pay order is paid in full. However, you can pay the remainder of your Easy Pay balance at any time if your approval from the BATFE arrives before your Easy Pay order is paid in full. Easy Pay is similar to a layaway program, but with longer than average terms. Easy Pay is not limited to NFA items and suppressors." JPK |

However im in Texas and have used their easy pay 3 times. All 3 times my form 4 was mailed the next day after I made the first payment. |

For Easy Pay, the paperwork is done right away. Order comes in, get's processed, paperwork is all in motion and payments are done while we're waiting on the ATF.
The above statement (from a few posts up) means that the physical item has to be paid off in full before it leaves our shop. So if you're on Form 3 and it's not paid when the form is approved, it won't ship physically to your dealer until money is all squared up. (although paperwork is back and approved.) Thank you everyone for the kind words! |

That is they way they all should do it. In a seller's market, you have no choice. I would say it is a buyer's market right now.
The Myriad of new companies will need to be pretty innovative to stay in business this next couple years, unless the HPA passes. Then I would expect a lot of the parts to come from overseas. Same goes for AR15 manufacturers. Many of the top names are taking a severe beating because they ignored the consumer market. Some of the suppressor manufacturers hitched their wagon to the same horse. |

I bought 3 cans and a couple mounts from them. They are GTG. I emailed they twice with questions and Torrey replied very quickly.
FWIW, Hanson Bros is also a decent shop. They're in rural VA SW of D.C. but I travel to their area sporadically for work. I dropped into their store a few months ago (basement of the owners home). They're good people and I wouldn't have an issue giving them money. |
| Buy with confidence. Capitol Armory is top notch. I ordered my Dead Air Wolverine PBS-1 from them last fall. They truly excel in the customer service department. Jorge has always taken the time to answer my questions and notify me when a item that I requested was back in stock. As a result, they have earned my business as a repeat customer. I placed my second order with them last week for a SureFire SOCOM 5.56 RC2. |
