Has anybody have or used a PTP Tactical suppressor,any information good or bad?I saw their rim fire suppressor this weekend at a shop,it was selling for $249 Thanks for any information.

I thought I read somewhere that PTP cans where made by Dead Air.

Not exactly. It was a real shady deal where Tracking Point rebranded Dead Air cans without their knowledge. You can read some of it here. I found that link, but looking for another one...as I think they ended up rebranding a different brand (or somebody else did).

If I recall correctly PTP got a C&D letter from DA regarding their mounting systembeing too much like the Keymount.

Yeah, can't remember the details...and I've been searching. I know the baffle pics got posted and Todd responded to say they looked awful familiar. But I can't remember which site that thread was on.

ETA: found the other thread here, but it didn't really go anywhere.

Thanks for the links,doesn't look to bad for a first suppressor for the money.Now just need to get a trust set up and start the process.
