From what I'm told, that should be fairly realistic.

If you look at other YHM cans, they typically sell for around 75% of MSRP. That would put the Turbo at like $366. I don't necessarily think it'll get that low, but it'll definitely be affordable.

I'm definitely in if HPA passes. I don't need one...but I'll buy one, or two. They'd be nice on the 16" and 20".

I would be in if cash and carry, stamp price or not.

After buying my share of suppressors, I'm not nearly as keen on dedicated 556 cans. Many of the popular 7.62 suppressors these days come within 1-3db of dedicated 556 products, weigh about the same, and are obviously more versatile in terms of calibers.

That being said, this product completely changes that. 13.5 ounces, quick detach, all steel, for ~$400 street price?!? I wish this would've been around 9 months ago

This is definitely going on my wish-list.

Anybody know the minimum barrel length for 5.56?

Definitely cool. I've always like YHM even though they were heavy. Proud to see them focusing more on weight now.

Based on that comment, I'm curious to know when their 32oz phantom was introduced. Was that weight competitive at the time?

That's what I'm saying. Let's be honest, YHM has never been known for producing lightweight cans. Aside from the ULT, they don't have any that I'm aware of. Even the revised LT series was what, 20oz?  Wasn't the previous TI can something like 15oz and only rated for 308?  I'm not bashing them so don't get me wrong here. Hell I own 2 of the super heavyweights myself and have put many rounds through them without issue. I've always said they have a great, simple mounting solution. Can't wait to see what else they come up with.

Yeah, 15oz. Rated up to 300RUM/winmag. Though I'm not sure of barrel length requirements.

I could care less at this point and at that price. This is going to be a big win for YHM. Glad they were silently listening to what some of us want.

That's a great value. Very light with a solid mounting system for less than half of what some of my other 556 cans cost.

And to think, my first YHM was 28oz (though it is 30 cal)

The steel Phantom is 25oz, which isn't far off other full size steel options from other manufacturers.

If you check out the specs of theirs suppressors, they have a good handful of both 30cal and 5.56 suppressors with weight well under offerings from Rugged and Dead Air.

Sweet!   I was lucky to have found an early PWS brake mount years ago.  The ealy phantom style mountsheet were ok, but then they went full crazy on the goofy mounts.  May just have to look into one of these now.

I have the FH that came with my ULT. It is butt ugly - But who the hell ever sees it?

Even so, this brake is a huge improvement in looks.

I have the PWS brake for my SS 7.62 phantom (the phantom weighs in at ~32oz).  The brake works nice but causes the whole upper to ping unless it is suppressed.

Anyway been waiting for YHM to do something like this.

Will probably be end up getting one and possibly doing the SBR thing as well
