If I send in a fingerprint card for a post 41F purchase or if I have bought as an individual, do my fingerprints go into the "system.?'  I know that if you are arrested and convicted, your fingerprints remain in the system for future use.  But, for example, the fingerprints I submitted for my security clearance are not in the system.  If someone finds and runs my prints from a crime scene, even though I submitted a set for my security clearance, there will be no matches.  Does that change when I send in a copy for a NFA purchase?

I'm just going to guess and say no, they're not that smart.
Otherwise, why would we be required to keep submitting
more and more for each subsequent NFA purchase?

If you buy from Silencer Shop, your finger prints will go into their system, so you don't need to keep having yourself fingerprinted.

Yes, but fingerprints are then sent to ATF.  What happens to them next?

You bring up a concern of mine as well (and is why i have 11 items in jail right now).

Floriday statute prevents leo from keeping copies of your prints when you get your conceal carry permit (as long as you go somewhere that takes them electronically). If you got your prints done with ink when getting your ccw (assuming you have one), dont worry, buy with confidence as they already run your prints at every crime scene.

"It is important to remember that you will need to go online to submit payment for your fingerprint submission WITHIN 30 DAYS OF HAVING YOUR FINGERPRINTS SCANNED or your electronic response will be deleted by FDLE from the CWCS database."

They link your electonic prints with a unique number and are rqrd to destroy them (suppposedly).
