I am waiting on 3 cans (all dedicated 5.56)

One is going on a 16" gun, one is going on an 11.5" gun, but i was thinking of adding a 14.5" to the collection for the third one.  Was wondering if anyone was running a suppressor on a 14.4" middy and their opinion of it, or if there was a better option and why?

thanks in advance for any replies.

FYI = if it matters the cans are AAC SR-5 / AAC M42000 / Griffin Arm. M4SD II

I love my 14.5" middy SBR. I bought it because I already owned a 10.5" and a 20" AR-15, so it was a great way to split the difference (and I like 14.5" a lot more than 16"). Since you already have a 16", what about a 20"?

If you're going to be shooting it suppressed all the time, I would either 1) go as short as you reasonably can, or 2) build a precision gun that gets shot off a bipod where the weight of the silencer won't matter.

One great thing about a 14-1/2":  You can pin the mount to stay over 16" and not have to deal with SBR travel limitations.
