I have an SLR Aero .22 LR suppressor, which apparently they don't make anymore, since a search on the SLR website says there is no products which match, and the instructions in the box do not mention re-assembly. The baffles have a U-shaped notch at the bore entrance with a corresponding hole just after it leading to the area where the baffles nest, and therefore a dead end.  Do these notches have to line up, NOT line up, or it doesn't matter, when I put it back together?

I've been told by folks like Henry Graham that for best suppression, they should be aligned.
