What do I need to configure this for my FN SCAR 16? I believe I need something for the 1/2x28 without using the booster assembly? Do I just need to buy the spacer in place of the spring? I'm getting to the point where I'm starting to regret even getting this can which I didn't think was possible.

Thanks Steve You could buy any 1/2x28 threaded Taper Mount Stealth Flash hider taper mount Taper Mount Flash Comp Taper Mount 2 port Muzzle brake Taper Mount Minimalist Brake Taper Mount Minimalist Titanium Brake Minimalist Taper Mount Flash Hider Taper Mount Hammer Comp 556 All the devices listed above will work with the long taper attachment that is included with the silencer. The Minimalist devices listed above will work with the Taper Mount Minimalist Blast Shield below which makes your silencer a bit shorter and lighter, 7.9" and 15.7 ounces. You will see this is how we mount it to our SCAR16S Minimalist Blast Shield A2 Blast Shield would interface with A2 devices, or our M4SD and 30SD Flash Comps, also our M4SD hammer comp, and M4SD paladin Brake A2 Blast Shield M4SD FLash COMP M4SD Tactical Comp M4SD Hammer Comp M4SD Paladin Brake 30SD Flash Comp You could also run a 3 lug adapter kit and 1/2x28 3 lug barrel adapters in the short configuration. Although both the long and mid size taper mount configs are quieter. 3 Lug Interface Kit 3 lug barrel adapter So there are quite a few different ways to mount that to your Scar. We generally don't recommend direct threading a can onto a rifle although you could do that. A more secure attachment will be better in the long run. Also see below video.
