I'm getting ready to do a form 1 for a suppressor build I want to do. My question is on my trust. Do I go ahead and list the suppressor I am building on the trust or leave it blank and add it once I get the tax stamp. When I send the trust in with the form 1 to atf.

Is this the first time you have used this trust? If not, submit the trust in the same condition, that you did for your first stamp, while you do need to submit your trust each time, for each stamp, there is no need to update the Schedule A on the trust, that is being submitted. I submit the same digital copy of my trust each time, I do update my physical copy of the trust, but do not update the digital one that I submit to the ATF. If not, no need to list the suppressor on your Shedule A. Most people list a dollar bill as a means to validate the trust, so that their Schedule A is not empty. Although some people submit a blank Scedule A and have no problems. |
