I have three different covers:
-Bowers Griptastic for my Specwar 556, love it for that application, but once it is on, it is on. -Rifles Only HAD for my Specwar 762. I cannot get it on tight enough to be it from slipping with recoil. - Cole-Tac Python for my YHM Ti 762 can. It works great, less slippage than Rifles Only. I went with this one as it is on a bolt gun and it is thinner. My scope is low enough that I was getting the Rifles Only HAD in my image. |

Range day on Saturday I'll be honest the cover slips forward after a couple rounds
To me it's not a big deal as I am not sending several rounds down range quickly. I fire a round maybe two check the torque of the can and then slide the cover back It's works for me If I was an elite sniper sending multiple rounds or in a competition where I didn't want to think about it slipping... That would be different |

If you look at how we use the buckles in conjunction with the webbing with Velcro, it acts more like a pulley. You can get these straps extremely tight to the point where they do not shift at all under recoil. The other huge benefit with us, is we are a small company that stands behind everything we make. If you ever have issues with you gear contact us and we will take care of it.

While I do not do a lot of rapid fire, I have had less slipage with my Cole-Tac Python than my Rifles Only HAD. I use both on .308s and the Rifles Only requires frequent checking, I just can't get it tight enough.
For my rapid fire on an SBR, I have a Bowers Griptastic, that thing is going nowhere. |

It didn't move and the inner and outer sleeve appear to be the same material. I just rewatched his video and at the 2 minute mark you can see where he tightened the outer sleeve in a way that it looks to clamp it down to the suppressor mount and or barrel. I didn't see that the 1st time and I don't fasten the outer sleeve this way. at about the 1 minute mark it looks fastened the way I do it. For the record, Rifles Only stands behind their gear if issues arrive. On a side note I will be trying a Cole Tac :) Live Free or Die! |
