So by the end of the week, I plan to make my first purchase through silencer shop.  I plan to get the tax stamp and trust set up through them as well.  Anyone have experience using this method or have any issues?  Figured now was as good of time as any to set up a trust seeing as that will be coming to an end in a few months.

As for the can, I plan to get an AAC 7.62 SD or 7.62 SDN-6.  I will use it for an ar10 (20in), SCAR 17, 300 blk (12.5in), and a bolt gun (20in).  Any recommendation on either of those 2 based on what they will be attached to?  Thanks for the input.

For now, trust is the way to go. You should have no issues. As far as the AAC cans, meh... I guess it comes down to what you really want out of the suppressor (POI shift, budget, dB reduction, etc...). I've personally kept away from AAC rifle cans. Minimal POI shift has not been their strong point. I'm not saying it won't suit your needs, but they're not for me.

BTW, I'm not anti AAC. I have a TiRant 9 and love it. For a long gun, I'm partial to SilencerCo, Griffin and Surefire, to name a few...

If you have to choose one of them go with the sdn6 die to length and weight savings.

Honestly though there are better choices like the sandman series, Omega, and surge.

I would suggest an Omega.

Wrt SS, I have used their trust and bought several suppressors through them and each time it has been seem less and easy, with no issues.

If you're sticking with Silencer Shop, then Dead Air and Silencerco are off the table.

Between the SD and SDN-6, I'd take the shorter SDN-6.

Thanks for the info on other cans.  I will look in to them for sure.  I just happen to have 3 aac 51t mounts already which just makes life easy.

The 762-SDN-6 is the perfect can for your application

I have the sdn6 I like it. It lives on my 300 blk sbr. A lot of bad things have been said about the 51t mount not locking up but it's really not an issue. I have one mount that has slight play and one that locks up tight as a virgin. I just bought a mini4 that uses the same mount. It gets the job done.
