I just got my octane this weekend. Grabbed my MP5 clone and mark23 then hit the range. After a hundred or so .45 I unscrewed the mount and the part the mount screws into came out instead. I tightened it back up, got a firm grip and got the piston out put on the 3 lug and had some more fun. When I got home I pulled out the manual and it said not to remove that for cleaning. Is there a problem with removing it?
Thanks

Sometimes when its hot, mine will loosen also. I just tighten it back down and make sure I am unscrewing the mount. When it cools its solid again. I wouldn't worry too much.

No, spring with the pistol adaptor and the 3lug attaches all on its own.
