So I had to send my Omega back to SilencerCo because it has something wrong internally and launched the baffle stack 15-20 rounds in.
They fixed it and sent it back to me, free of charge, but sent me back a new ASR mount. I want my old ASR mount back. I'm sure they remember the one, it was the one that actually came off the flash hider. Yeah, that one. I want it back. It was in the suppressor when I sent it to you. I want that one back please. That way it isn't permanently installed on the flash hider like the one you sent me back is now. I was getting my shit together to go and FINALLY try this fucking thing out, screwed the suppressor onto my ASR flash hider not even finger tight, and now it won't come off. Like not even remotely. I went so far as to stick the upper in a vice and try to use the included wrench on the ASR with the suppressor removed to get it off which resulted in my only having removed the flash hider from the muzzle, which is STILL in the ASR. Before anyone asks, yes I cleaned it and lubed it prior to sticking it on the flash hider. No it was not in the locked position at any point in time. So I'm going to call you tomorrow and send the Flash Hider with the ASR stuck on it back. Maybe you guys can take a crack at removing it with a hydraulic press because this fucking thing feels like it's welded. Thanks SilencerCo. I'm sure your rifle suppressors are great, the problem is that I'm just not having a very good experience with them thus far. The Osprey, on the other hand, is a work of art. |

Anyway, remount it and get it hot through firing it (not torch). It will loosen. A buddy and I used his gun (with asr mount) and it stuck my specwar pretty good. Tapped it on a wooden table and fired it and it had loosened up. I had fired it mostly with a fh mount and he had a brake on. Apparently there was enough of a difference between the two that the accumulated soot locked it on good and tight. Everything was relatively new then, but i havent had an issue since then using maybe 4 different mounts and brakes. |

So, I did what you thought and magdumped.
Still stuck on there like it was welded. Even burned myself on the barrel trying to get it off. Figured, what the hell? Moar magdump! It was so hot you could light a cigarette on it. Still stuck like it was one with the flash hider and barrel. Soaked the damned thing in water to loosen the rocksett and I'm sending the ASR it's the stuck mount in it back to silencerco. They gave me an RMA. In the meantime I ordered another ASR mount for my Omega and Specwar. |

Sounds like you need to go back to being a closet Obama fan and playing WOT...you seem to have better luck doing that than with SiCo products.
I'm sure SiCo will take care of you. |
