In order to put my buddy on my trust doesn't he need to sign/get notarized in the paperwork?

Thanks a lot.

Mods, I didn't know where to put this. Move if needed.

If he is a trustee then yes, he will have to sign and have it notarized.

So anyone you put on a trust has to sign?  Where do they sign?  And what if they do not?

my attorney gave me a separate form for assigning new trustees. Not sure how you went about your trust but it should be similar I would imagine.

Yes, I want to add actually two trustees.
Sean Cody did my trust so I figure it's pretty standard.
We'll find out after hitting the range this morning when we go to chase bank.

Thanks

On my trust form to add a cotrustee both the settelor/trustee and the new cotrustee must sign/date the form before a notary.

A lot of it has to do with how your trust is written, but you can usually assign/remove trustees by simply amending the trust

I know that my trust from Silencerco has pages to print out to sign and have notarized to add people.
