[ARCHIVED THREAD] - Modular 45 can, help me out

Have an octane 45 but it's pretty much become a dedicated 9mm can for an EVO cause my wife won't let me have it back.

Want a 45 can, modular, as in short and long configurations available. Primary host is USP 45 so it needs to be able to attach to that thread, I think 16x1LH. It will also need to fit a 1911 with whatever the standard 1911 thread is.

I've seen one or two pop up here and get a lot of talk but can't remember which specific model it was that seemed to fit these requirements. Can someone help me out and tell me if the right can exists, and if Capitol armory has it then major bonus points.

Rugged Obsidian and Dead Air Ghost are the two getting the most attention right now. Griffin Revolution 45 and AAC Tirant 45 M are two more.

Rugged Obsidian is what you want. Can be configured long or short and the pistons are interchangeable with Silencerco pistons, which you already have eg; Octane. Oh .578x28 is the thread pitch for 1911 barrels.

Thanks, just subscribed to the email me when in stock on capitols site. Hope it comes in before the 41F deadline. I have another can pending through them and was pleased with their purchase process, so here's hoping.
