So if they don't return/destroy page 3, then there will be no list of responsible persons listed on an approved Form 4.

I suppose that's in line with the ATF not being able to control additions/deletions of responsible persons on a trust.

Yeah, who knows? Maybe we have to send two copies of page 3 from now on and they return one.

FWIW...this was the update I got from a dealer today:

Also I spoke to one of the examiners today at the NFA branch who indicated that they are getting another building ready to store finger print cards and that she believes Eforms 2.0 will never see the light of day.
She also indicated that they are under water in new applications flowing into the branch and expect approval times to rise significantly unless more help is hired.

None of that is a surprise.

Doesn't this mean that you will actually have to sign the form now?  Before you didn't have to do anything.

Sounds like SS is going to be up in arms with mailing stuff and papers.

Going to be interesting to see how that plays out. The form still says skip 13 for suppressor/AOW, and skip 14-17 if other than an individual. There's no actual signature for 12, unless the one at the very bottom has to be signed for 12 at the top.

Went back and read the form a little closer looking for something else, and found this...which indicates signature required (and thus no need to see how this plays out):

(2)(d)If the transferee is other than an individual, e.g., a trust or legal entity such as a corporation, the transferee shall not complete items 14, 15,16,17,18, and 19. All other items must be completed including the signing of the Transferee Certification statement by the transferee.

And I'm confused as to why 18 & 19 would be skipped for "other than an individual", as an individual can't answer those questions.

That's my fear as well. Oh well, eFormed two more Form 1 items tonight. Losing eForms and the ability to just upload all the documentation will be the biggest hit to me.

I'm going to Form 1 as many things as I want/need by the deadline.

I'm also crossing all my fingers that whomever is doing approvals will batch me.

I'm new to all this.  Bought my first can in December and have bought one a month since and plan to do the same until 41f takes effect and a few form 1s. I'm not going to let 41f stop me but I think I'll definitely wait for all the kinks to be worked out before I buy post 41f because it seems like there will be a few

Line 13 has you sign stating you have reasonable "necessity" to own a SBR, etc.  I personally do not see where NEED has anything to do with it and sounds like a way for them to deny.  I'm going to comment that they should simply state the reason for possession.

Edit:  Perhaps I posted this in the wrong forum.
