Looking for a suppressor for a 9mm AR SBR. Size is most important factor--want something small and light. Modularity doesn't matter since it will spend most of it's time on the AR
suggestions? |

another question regarding 9mm ARs and suppressors. I have a noveske barrel that has a 1/2x32 36 threads. I haven't been able to find an adapter so that I can fit 1/2x28 or 1/2x36. any suggestion? FIFY first hit on google
Or rethread it... |

yep. I double checked with noveske. I'm kind of bummed. it looks like the easiest path is to buy a new barrel. I checked with a few shops that machine adapters and was told the 1/2x32 is an odd pattern and that they didn't have the proper taps to make an adapter. this sucks. I was going to order an Omega 9k tomorrow

I was going to order an Omega 9k tomorrow I'd think the easiest thing, since you're considering replacing the barrel, is to send the barrel to ADCO and for $65 and a week or two of time, they'll thread it to 1/2-28 or x36. (Assuming you're OK losing 1/2"-3/4" of length. I'm also assuming you've actually counted the threads to see if there are 28 or 32 or 36 in an inch, just to be 100% sure. |

ok I found an easier fix. I called silenceco. I can add the harvester thread mount in 1/2x32. Ordered. Going to go order the can--problem solved You're going to use a Harvester on a 9mm? Or I'm guessing the Harvester thread mount works in the Omega 9K? (Is it the Harvester mount, or Harvester Big Bore mount?) |

Probably the Harvester since the Harvester and Octane fixed mounts are interchangeable. The Harvester thread mount will go into the Omega-9K cage that holds the piston/spring/retaining cap assembly. |

Good to know. I've held a Harvester, but never really paid much attention to it since I have no use for one. |
