When I go to remove my Omega, at times my flash hider comes off.  Do I just need to get some Rockset for the flash hider?

Yes. Can be purchased less than $4 shipped for a vial from SilencerShop.

You need to clean/dry the threads, apply rocksett, and torque the muzzle device to the specs in the manual.

My experiences have been spotty with those one-time-use packets. If the Rocksett comes out gummy, chances are it won't hold.

I bought a small bottle directly from Flexbar off eBay and that stuff has been great.

That's good to know. Will check with future packets. Thanks

Your recommendation to me for Resbond 907TS blue has worked very well for me so far.

I don't use Rocksett and my flash hider has never come off using my Specwar, and sometimes I REALLY have to torque that damn thing to get it off. What did you torque your flash hider to when you installed?

I have no idea how to apply a torque wrench to a flash hider.  Its a Silencerco Flash hider with two flat sections on the bottom.  Can exactly put a socket on there.  Maybe there is something I am missing.

A quick search looks like you can use an armorers tool which has a socket hole in it.  So, what torque spec should I be using for an ASR Flash Hider

Heck even their video doesnt mention torque.

They do however mention red loc-tite or rockset.

Contact Silencerco. They released a new asr mount specifically for the Omega. They will trade it out for free. Mine did the same until switched and hasn't done it since.
