| I'm trying to build out a basic set of suppressors for my overall firearm collection. And I'll admit that 41-P is a concern, but living in OH with our new "Shall sign" laws, its not the end of the world, but still BS. I have a Ops 12th for my MK12 (and maybe add a collar to one or two more rifles) and I'm ready to get an order in for a Surefire 5.56 SOCOM2, SF 7.62 SOCOM2 or 300 SPS and the final one I'd like to get is a .22. I'm likely going to buy all 3 via Silencer Shop and the Surefire Ryder 22-S seems reasonable priced and good performance from what I can read. Expected .22 LR firearms to use with it are a Sig Mosquito, Ruger 10/22 (need new barrel or get it threaded) and Spikes ST-22 dedicated .22 LR AR upper. I'm likely to add a M&P 22 to the pistol collection soon also. That being said, is the Ryder a good choice or can you suggest something else? |

Spectre II. Can't recommend the Mask yet, might get mine out of jail in 4 months. Ohio shall sign is not necessarily without it's faults. If you don't have a CCW, the sheriff will charge you $67 if you are a resident for > 5 years, $67 + cost of background check if you a resident for <5 years. If you have a CCW the cost is $50 or $50+cost of background check. That, on top of any transfer fees, quickly adds up. |

I went with this for my first can. Performs very well on rifles and pistols, no first round pop, robust materials, looks very easy to service. Quoted:

I would add the Dead Air Mask to the list of choices as well as a Form 1 can. This is nice to hear. My form 4 went in yesterday on my Mask, so that would be my choice for a first can as it is mine. Should be free from jail just in time for the snow to be gone...if we ever get any. |

Quoted: Spectre II as well. It's worked well on all my 22's (pistols, rifles (bolt and semi-auto). I got it primarily for the lack of first round pop. Don't know about the Dead Air Mask, haven't used one, but the photos look very similar as far as baffling goes. The Mask looks like the winner, but I love my Spectre II even though it is long and heavy when on a handgun. It's silly quiet. |

I have 2 Sparrows and 2 Spectre II's.
I honestly don't have a favorite. There are thinks I like about both and there are things I dislike about both. I really wish 41p wasn't happening, I want to get Dead Air's full line up but the ATF is trying to make it difficult. |
| Just ordered a axiom but only found a little bit of information on them. This is my first suppressor and hopefully the specs match the performance. I was looking for a Spectre II but was sold out where I bought the Axiom and didn't want to wait for it to be back in stock. |
