Idk I have seen on some YT videos where Thompson Machine and Gemtech both referenced buying a punch set and cutting your own. So it must be one of these its not ok to do but we are not going to be actively looking for people buying punches.

Is it really that much heavier than the Omega 9k? Listed weight is 10.6 OZ vs silencerco's 7.2 OZ that's a huge difference.

Got two slightly different answers when I asked in the Gemtech forum.

Aurora II
Techstaff said, "ATF only allows a type 7 FFL to change wipes".
PHD (former owner of GT, IIRC), provided some instructions on how one could make replacement wipes for themselves.

I'm betting the extra covering can definitely add 3oz.

Too bad it comes with a 5/8 and not a 1/2 mount.

I dont think Blackhawk is going to continue selling these things. Is the savings worth no warranty....hmmmmmmmm

Wish I would have known as well.

Gun Pro Deals has these for under $300 now ($291 iirc) as does Midwest Guns ($300) but Lanbo's was cheaper after shipping FWIW.

The M4-2000s at Gunprodeals are drop shipped from a distributor or AAC.

I'm waiting for them to tell me they'll transfer to my agency on Form 5. They didn't know anything doing about it that way.

Yeah for $80.00 you can get the Spectre II. They had them at grabagun for $250 something. That’s the direction I would go.

$252

Is the only difference that the Warlock II is aluminum and the Spectre II is steel? I guess you're trading lower weight for ease of cleaning? I already have a Sparrow for high-volume shooting...

Have a Optimus Micro just a few weeks in jail as my first suppressor. It will cover my .22lr needs. But I'm tempted to pick up a DA Mask tomorrow for $325 when my FFL has $100 off all NFA items.

The Spectre has a few more baffles and I think is slightly longer than the warlock.

But if weight is the main thing your looking at I would go with the Q Elcamino. The Elcamino it’s only 1.3OZ heavier and has stainless baffles so you can clean it however you like.  And you can shoot it on 22mag and 17hmr.

I'm pretty sure the Spectre II and Warlock II are identical in length. The only difference is weight, based on the materials.

Possible to order the Osprey 45K without the piston? The website keeps making me add one and I've already got Silencerco pistons coming out of my ears.

I think that your local FFL would be the one to work with on something like this. One person orders both suppressors, they both ship to the local FFL, and then each person fills out a Form 4 for their respective suppressor.

I'm pretty sure a few people mentioned doing something similar with the Capitol Armory Element 2 deal.

SS sends in the paper form 4 themselves before transferring it to your FFL.

I got in on the Erector. Put an Oculus in jail a couple months ago and a obsidian 9 last week.
That should cover me, forever

For the erector it was my 1st time buying directly from SS's web site. I usually have my dealer order it and I use the SS to buy a stamp and process it since I got setup in the kiosk a while back. But my dealer claims SS charges $25 to process the paper work which my dealer collects. There was no $25 charge on SS's site/purchase.
Anyones dealer collect this $25 fee like mine does?

If you're buying off the Silencer Shop website to your Powered By dealer, there are no transfer fees (or processing fees).

If your dealer uses SS to process the Form 4 for an item in their inventory (e.g., you buy a silencer from ABC Silencers and have it transferred on a Form 3 to your dealer who then uses Silencer Shop to process the Form 4), the dealer can charge a fee to recoup whatever charges they may incur from Silencer Shop for that service.

I'm pretty sure that's how it works but you should get confirmation from @SilencerShop.

Yes, for cans that were not purchased from SilencerShop, the dealer is charged a fee to process the paperwork through the SilencerShop system. The fee is factored in to the price when you purchase direct from the SilencerShop website.

That’s super cheap for around here. In Ga most gun shops charge at a minimum $50 for handling the paper work. The shop closes to me charges $100. So be thankful for your $45 fee. And if one in Ga knows of one cheaper let me know.

Cherokee Gun and Pawn charges $50, not sure where you are located and if the $50 savings is worth it.
