I'm hopefully going to be in the market soon for a suppressor and I am torn between 2.

First - the 7.62SDN6

Second - Griffin Armament M4SDII

My rifle is already outfitted with a 51T Brakeout, but the cost of an A2 birdcage is negligible when looking at the suppressor cost so that doesnt matter.

I've not shot either, and only watched videos so the true performance of both is unknown since videos can be misleading due to environments and equipment.
Anyone have experience with both and what do you prefer?

What is your host?
How did you settle on these two choices?

10.3" DD barrel

Settled on the AAC due to the fact I had looked at them way back when and I used the mount on that rifle. Plus using the the brakeout will give me the "sacrificial baffle"
To be honest, the aesthetics and the "related" design of the M4SDII compare to the NT4 on the exterior is what drew me into it. I have yet to really look into the construction of the internals yet to really compare.

I will add that this will be my first can. Other that picking up a used gemtech for my wife which we havent done paperwork on yet.

I also looked at the Silencer Co Saker I blieve? with the multiple mount options and that seemed appealing. Just hadnt really added it to the option list.... yet at least..

AAC has gotten a lot of negative feedback since freedom group took over and even my dealer who sells AAC stuff is now saying not to purchase their stuff.
I'm by no means an expert and I'm sure more knowledgeable people will be along shortly but I'd do some more research before ordering the AAC. There seems to be better cans from better companies for the same price.
Also, since this will be your first can, maybe look into a more modular can. The Silencerco Omega has been getting some good feedback, is rated up to 300WM, has swappable endcaps and can be configured as a qd or direct thread can.
I know I'm looking hard at it right now as my 3rd can.
I went rimfire (spectreII), pistol (Octane 45hd) and prob the Omega next.

Hope my little bit of knowledge helps.

Thanks for the heads up. I know a local dealer here in town pushes, or at least pushED AAC quite heavily.
I was pretty much set on the AAC until I ran across the Griffin. Of course there is talk there as well.
If I had the scratch, I would probably just go full tard on the NT4 even though its not as quiet as others.
Of course there was brief talk of a SOCOM, but that fizzled. Not really sure why though.....

Sounds like i may need to go back to the drawing board?
