Hello intrepid arfcom suppressor subforum readers. Like many people, my head spins when I see 250+ pages of Form 1 can suppressor threads when 99% of what I want to see is:
1) pic(s), diagrams, videos of the can in action 2) specs (sources of parts, methods of making, adapter/end cap types, OAL, material (AL, SS, Ti etc.), tools used, bore diameter etc). ...preferably all in one post per user per can... I propose that we have a sticky thread, like all the other picture threads on arfcom, but with more data to go along with the pics that perspective builders would need. Hundreds of Form 1 cans are probably owned by people on this subforum, and that library of data would be great for people that want to make a couple, but don't really need to become uber suppressor experts. Myself, I just want to build a 556 can and a 30 cal can.....maybe a big .50 one some day. I don't want to reinvent the wheel or experiment with different designs...I'm fine copying someone else. |

No, there other threads are a total mess, lol. They aren't nearly as organized as the standard arfcom "picture threads" which use a set of rules to keep the babble / useless info to a minimum. Let's face it, in the 100+ pg form 1 thread there's probably 10 pages of good info, and its scattered all over the place forcing you to read the entire thing. Posted Via AR15.Com Mobile |
