Just got back from zeroing my Ruger American Rimfire/Spectre II combo.  It zeroed easily enough and shot good groups at fifty yards but I noticed quite a bit of shift without the suppressor (about 2-3 inches low).  Is this within normal limits or do I have a problem?  I was only able to try CCI SV before the rain drove me off.  I was always impressed by internet vids showing minimal shift and I admit I'm somewhat dissapointed.  Do I have a problem here?

It could be normal as POI shift has many contributing factors besides the suppressor including the concentricity of the barrel threads to the bore.

But just to eliminate one thing, have you measured the threads on your American Rimfire to make sure they are 0.4" long?

Yep I had it threaded to Silencerco Sparrow specs for the o-ring engagement. (Same specs for the Spectre II).

Are the cutouts lined up on each baffle in the stack? The o-ring on the thread mount isn't chewed up or loose?

Cutouts are lined up and i even index them each time I clean it to the engraving on the can.  Hmm....
Oring is good as well.  Maybe I'll try some different ammo next time.
