Ok, dumb question but I can't find the answer after considerable internet searching. I have a 5.56 AR Performance barrel with 5/8x24 threads that I would like to use in a build with a Surefire S3FP flash hider and eventually a Surefire suppressor. WIll the Surefire 5.56 suppressor fit onto a Surefire 7.62 flash hider? Or does the 556 suppressor only fit the 5.56 flash hider? Per their website, the length is pretty close between the two flash hiders, but not exact.
