I have a Daniel Defense DDM4V4 SBR 11.5 that is almost free (if ATF times keep on current pace).  I plan to run it suppressed in the near future and wanted opinions on whether I should change the BCG out.  I was looking at the PWS BCG.  It is Isonite QPQ coated, has channels cut in it, and is heavier.  I am under the impression that all of these things may help.  I am new to suppressors though and may be wrong.

PWS BCG

Any and all help is appreciated.

I wouldn't change the bcg. I would swap in a heavier buffer perhaps.

you didn't get the answer you liked in the SBR forum...?
If you're just looking to blow money then go for it

Posted in both in case I got different people with different points of view/experience.

It doesn't do anything a heavier buffer wouldn't do and the buffer is a lot cheaper.

In your case OP you should just buy both.

In reality though you should test the weapon once you get a hold of the suppressor and then make changes if needed to make it function reliably.
